We are Gill and Neil, the owners of La Catusse. We retired in 2015, Gill from her career as a PE teacher and Neil as a vet, but we had already decided that it wasn't going to the start of us "putting our feet up". One of our main passions in life is skiing and we decided that we wanted to improve so we left Scotland to "do a season" and become chalet hosts in Meribel at the heart of Les3Vallées for the winter 2015-16 - some our more famous in the photo !

We have always loved France exploring many regions during our many family holidays and slowly we came to the conclusion that buying a french property was what we wanted. We considered many parts of France but decided that the Lot-et-Garonne was the place for us and bought in December 2017. We started renting the properties in 2018 and have loved meeting all our various guests over the last 4 years.

In 2020 having come through the Covid lockdowns and with Brexit looming we decided that it was time was right for us to leave Scotland and come to make a new life in France. The time has flown by having been busy extending the terrace on the main house, completely refurbishing the pool area and also the gîte terrace. We no longer rent out the main house but enjoy welcoming people to stay in our beautiful gîte.

We are very proud of our home in France and work hard to keep it all in great condition. It is our greatest pleasure to share it with our guests and we are always (discreetly) on hand to give you the best of our local experience to help you have a great holiday.
